What gifts should I give each character?
Use loved or liked gifts instead of guessing with rare items, and save the best one for the character’s birthday. You can give one gift to each character per day. The Characters & Romance guide also covers the twelve marriage candidates, heart events, dating, marriage, and platonic routes in version 1.0.
How do I find a specific fish or collectible?
Check every spawn condition before spending the day searching: location or water type, season, weather, time, shadow size, and collection method. This is the fastest way to narrow down targets such as Firesail Fish, Smoke Moth, Written Root, and Earthshroom.
Is Fields of Mistria 1.0 available now?
Yes. Fields of Mistria left Early Access with version 1.0 on August 5, 2026. The full release completes major town and relationship arcs, raises Town Renown to 100, adds ten-heart progression, marriage and children, and expands museum and late-game goals. Version 1.0.1 followed with crash and bug fixes.
Is Fields of Mistria on Switch or Switch 2?
No locally verified announcement confirms a Switch or Switch 2 release as of August 6, 2026. Windows PC and Steam Deck compatibility are confirmed. Steam metadata also showed a native Linux build, although the official FAQ had not matched that listing, so Linux players should check the current store page before buying.
How do I unlock the mines, Auto Feeder, or Greenhouse?
These systems open through different story, town, skill, shop, or building requirements rather than on a single fixed day. The Mines open through story and town progression; later facilities should be checked by prerequisite, materials, cost, operation, and game version before you spend resources.
