Weekly events

Friday Night at the Inn

The Friday gathering brings townsfolk together and develops recurring storylines. It is a useful relationship stop because several conversations share one destination. The 1.0 release adds further Friday Night at the Inn scenes, so a completed Early Access sequence may continue.

Saturday Market

The market runs on Saturdays after the bridge-repair story requirement. Visiting vendors include Darcy, Louis, Merri, Taliferro, Vera, and Wheedle in the archived character directory. Full release adds a Saturday Market Plaza and related quest progression, so complete town repairs if the market experience seems incomplete.

Weekend dates

Dates are player-initiated relationship events rather than passive town festivals. The archived calendar framework places date opportunities on Saturday and Sunday, while the official 1.0 release extends relationships through ten hearts, proposals, and marriage. Follow the current Social and Journal prompts for exact availability.

Confirmed seasonal festivals

Spring Festival — Spring 17

Prepare by watching the event quest and calendar during early Spring. Finish essential watering before leaving and reserve any event-specific collection or contribution item instead of shipping it.

Shooting Star Festival — Summer 28

This relationship-focused event sits at the end of Summer. Keep the day free, finish the season’s final crop decisions in advance, and make any companion choice deliberately.

Harvest Festival — Fall 10

The Harvest Festival is an important social event. Relationship progression can affect available interactions, so speak regularly with your intended companion before Fall rather than trying to build the route during the festival week alone.

Animal Festival — Winter 10

Prepare animal care before traveling to the event and avoid filling the day with a distant mine or fishing trip. The festival belongs to an active winter season, not to a farming shutdown.

Festival preparation checklist

One week before

• Read new letters and festival quests.
• Reserve requested crops, food, gifts, or animal products.
• Check relationship progress if an invitation or companion choice matters.
• Avoid selling the only copy of a seasonal item.

The day before

• Put event items and gifts in an easy-access chest.
• Clear bag space.
• Finish time-sensitive crafting or milling.
• Confirm the meeting time and location from the current in-game prompt.

Event morning

• Water and harvest priority crops.
• Care for animals.
• Carry only the items the event or your relationship plan needs.
• Enter through the prompted location rather than relying on an old route.

Birthdays

Use the in-game calendar as the current authority for birthdays. Prepare loved or liked gifts early and label them by recipient. A birthday is a good reason to prioritize one character, but ordinary daily conversation remains the foundation of relationship progress.

Missed-event recovery

First verify whether the event is annual, weekly, or player-scheduled. Weekly gatherings return; an annual festival generally requires waiting for the next year. If the event did not trigger, check story prerequisites, letters, time, meeting place, and game version before assuming the save is broken.
